The improvement within the FX Impact M3 begins with its dual regulators. The 1st regulator, built inside the bottle connection to the rifle, pre-reduces the air pressure in preparation for the 2nd regulator. Duel regulators provide less stress on the 2nd regulator and achieve a more constant output pressure with fewer standard deviations.

The FX Power Plenum 720 is the new energy source of the Impact M3. This larger diameter plenum and its 72cc volume of compressed air provide both the precise amount of air and the power needed to propel the projectile. This new plenum coordinates with the M3’s porting and valving to deliver the best power and efficiency available.

One of the most substantial upgrades to the Impact M3 is the user interface to the rifle: The Quick Tune System. The tool-free system encompasses everything a shooter could use to fine-tune their rifle’s accuracy, allowing unlimited possibilities. You can adjust the air pressure the rifle uses via the dual regulators and how long the valve stays open with the front valve adjuster. Now you can also adjust the strength of the hammer with the redesigned micro and macro power adjustments. The Rear Macro Power Wheel is a 16-step power wheel that adjusts the strength of the hammer in increments of 5-15 FPS (depending on caliber and reg pressure). The Rear Macro Wheel works in conjunction with the Micro Fine Adjustment, which tunes the hammer strength in small increments of just 1-2 fps with each click of the barrel roller, all at your fingertips. The combination of these is unrivaled in the airgun world! Truly the Quick Tune System will redefine the ease of tuning an air rifle.

Other improvements are vast and include an ambidextrous short throw cocking lever with an enlarged handle, dual transfer ports on .22 and .25 calibers, tightened barrel housing tolerances to provide a tighter fit and better accuracy to the rifle. Further improvements are tighter fitting Side-Shot Magazine, an updated trigger that provides a crisp second stage break (while allowing the trigger post to move forward or back), 20 MOA built into the scope rail, and Wika manometer gauges now standard.

What’s New?

The unrelenting innovation continues as FX proudly announces the addition of the rear Power Block to the FX Impact M3. It’s both iconic and beloved for good reasons. No rifle has continued to advance airgun capabilities like the FX Impact.

As much as the power plenum stages the power capabilities of the FX Impact, the rear block handles that transfer of power much like a car’s carburetor. FX has completely redesigned the rear block and the valve house, allowing better airflow, efficiency, and power potential.

The Power Block will be useful for those who desire to shoot the Impact at higher power, especially those shooting heavy slugs. The pressure in the plenum can now better translate to the pressure behind the slug upon firing, allowing higher speeds and power. Those shooting heavier slugs are encouraged to add the FX Impact Tungsten Hammer weight to allow for higher working pressures.

The Power Block change was a rolling development introduced into FX manufacturing at the beginning of 2022. All FX Impacts manufactured in 2022 have a Power Block (though unbranded until now). All FX Impacts M3s can be upgraded to the Power Block and associated valve house. Older Impacts can also be upgraded to this new Power Block but will need a Power Plenum 720 installed.
